One of the most important books I’ve ever read is Die Empty by Todd Henry. It challenged me, it inspired me, and it motivated me. If you haven’t read it, go buy it from your local bookstore immediately — but be ready to be stretched, just as I was.
Two things Todd challenges you to do is to formulate a mission statement for your life, and to list what he calls your “ethics” — the values you will try to honor, or the approaches you will take, as you go about your life’s work. Here, then, are mine.
My Mission Statement

more effective, more equitable, more life-giving, and more beautiful.
